2014: Named CAA All-Academic Team ... Hit 1-for-1 with a run scored and drew a walk in win at James Madison (May 11).
2013: Made 20 starts as a redshirt junior designated hitter in 2013 … Was one of four Huskies to get a hit off the Red Sox in the annual exhibition game in Ft. Myers, Fla. (2/21), sending a broken-bat single to right field ... Earned his first start of the season at the DH spot in the lineup, recording a team-high three hits in the 6-5 win over St. Bonaventure (3/4) … Picked up an RBI on a sac fly in the win over Mason (3/15) … Earned the start at DH and had an RBI hit, scoring a run himself in the 7-0 win over CCSU (3/25) … Bursted out of the gates with a 3-for-5, three RBI, one run performance against James Madison in the Huskies' 12-5 win over the Dukes (3/29) … Had two hits in the very next game (3/30) … Picked up a hit against Rhode Island on April 2 … Had a three-hit performance at Richmond on April 12 with a double and a run scored.
2012: Saw action in four games for the Huskies, taking in five at bats as a redshirt sophomore.
2011: Scored a run in NU's 12-4 loss to Rhode Island (2/27)...came on as a defensive replacement on May 13 against Old Dominion, going 0-for-2.
2010: Redshirt season.
High School: Played one year of varsity baseball at Hillsborough High School in Hillsborough, N.J. for coach Norm Hewitt…2009 All-County, All-Conference and Honorable Mention All-Area selection…helped his team to the Sectional Finals.
Personal: Born August 24, 1990 to Stuart and Susan Kessler… has one brother and one sister…enjoys playing pool and basketball…majoring in psychology and education, with plans to become a special education teacher and to coach baseball…Class of 2014.
