2010: Started 32 games and played in 36, going 30-for-120 (.250) with 10 doubles, a home run and 19 RBI...went 2-for-5 with two runs, four RBI and his first collegiate home run as the Huskies fell 12-6 at BC (May 4)...batted 2-3 with a double and a run in NU's 4-2 loss to UNC Wilmington (April 25)...singled and drove in a run in the Huskies' 4-1 win over UNC Wilmington (April 24)...batted 1-3 wth an RBI in NU's 4-3 win over UNC Wilmington (April 24)...hit a double and drove in four runs in the Huskies' 13-12 loss to Harvard (April 13)...went 2-3 in NU's 5-4 loss to BC (March 31)...batted 4-4 and scored two runs in NU's 7-1 victory over Valparaiso (March 6)...went 2-3 with two doubles in the Huskies' 11-0 loss to Villanova (March 5)...batted 2-5, scored two runs and roped a two-run double in NU's 8-5 win over Western Michigan (March 1)...smashed a double to deep left-center to lead off an eight-run inning in the Huskies' 13-1 win over St. Bonaventure (Feb. 27)...started his first collegiate game and smoked a liner to right for his first hit in the Huskies' 11-5 win over Davenport (Feb. 26).

High School: Played five years of varsity baseball at Lawrence Academy in Groton, Mass. for coach Chris Margraf…captained team for three seasons…team MVP in 2008 and 2009, and earned All-ISL honors those same years…set school records in game splayed, hits, runs scored and at-bats…also played four years each on the varsity hockey and football teams.

Personal: Born March 31, 1990 to Urban and Kristine Gillis…has two brothers…enjoys hockey and golf…majoring in Business… hopes to become a professional baseball player…Class of 2014.
