Northeastern University Athletics

Ella Freedman is in her third year at Northeastern University and serves as a student manager for the Huskies, a role she has officially held since Fall of 2025. Freedman originally joined the program during the historic 2025 season as a volunteer media manager, documenting the Huskies through photo and video coverage over spring break in San Diego, and at home games during the spring semester.

Now working in a year-round role, Freedman contributes across multiple areas of the program, including coordinating the team’s participation in 19 Ways, Northeastern baseball’s annual community service initiative. She also assists with managing the program’s recruiting social media efforts, helping showcase the team and student-athlete experience to prospective players.

Outside of baseball, Freedman majors in Music and Communication Studies with Concentration in Music Industry, and works on the Council for University Programs as the Director of Concerts. After graduation, Freedman hopes to pursue a job in the entertainment business using her degree.
