Before Northeastern: Transfers in from Northwestern University... a two-year varsity letter recipient in high school who scored a school-record 26 goals with eight assists as a senior, earning All-State and MVP honors and a spot on the MHSFHA Dream Team... added All-State and Offensive MVP honors as a junior and led her team to two straight conference titles... a decorated scholar-athlete, she earned the 2025 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award, the 2023 Elite 90 Award, three Academic All-Big Ten selections (2023-25), NFHCA Scholar of Distinction honors (2023-25), Big Ten Distinguished Scholar recognition (2024-25), and multiple NFHCA National Academic Squad nods... played club field hockey for Pinnacle and Live Oak... also a three-time ice hockey captain for the Grand Rapids Griffins, capturing back-to-back state titles in 2021-22.
Personal: Daughter of Alyssa and Matt Albers... has two siblings, brother James (19), a club ice hockey player at the University of Kentucky, and sister Avery (16), a Northwestern lacrosse commit... her father played ice hockey at Michigan State and her aunt Beth competed in track and field and cross country at Michigan... enjoys reading, watercolor, the beach, hiking, and traveling... pursuing a Graduate Certificate in International Relations and Global Studies.
