Teresa Mathews

Teresa Mathews enters her fifth season as assistance coach for the Huskies. Matthews came to Northeastern in 2018 after spending one season as an assistant coach at Saint Francis University and four seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Lehigh University.
 
Coaching Career:
  • Assistant coach for three seasons
  • Two CAA Tournament appearances (2018, 2019) and one CAA Championship game appearance (2019)
  • No. 25 national ranking during the 2019 seasons, the program's first national ranking since 2014
  • Assistant coach at Saint Francis University (2017)
  • Graduate assistant coach at Lehigh University (2015-2016), volunteer assistant for one season (2014)
Playing Career:
  • Four time letterwinner at Monmouth University (2010-2014)
  • Three Northeast Conference Championship appearances (2010, 2011, 2012)
  • Unsung Hero Award recipient in 2013
  • Most Improved Player Award recipient in 2011
