Guilien Smith enters his first season as graduate manager for the men's basketball program. Smith will assist with the day-to-day operations of the program, on-court workouts, assist with video scouting and supervise the student-manager program.

Smith was a graduate transfer for the Huskies in 2019-20. He started in five of the 29 games played, shooting a team-best 41 percent from beyond the arc and tallying a season-best 20 points in a win over James Madison (2/27). A native of Boston, Smith tallied a season-best three assists in the quarterfinal win over Towson (3/8) at the CAA Tournament in Washington, D.C.

Prior to transferring to Northeastern, Smith earned a degree from Dartmouth in sociology and played for the men's basketball team, starting in 44-of-75 games and scoring nearly 600 points. He received his masters degree from Northeastern in 2020 in international business and is now pursuing his MBA with a concentration in investments.
