Justin Parent joined the Northeastern sports performance department in the fall of 2013 as Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach and continues to serve that role. He is responsible for the design and implementation of strength & conditioning programs for Men’s Basketball, Women’s Swimming and Diving, Women’s Volleyball, and Men’s and Women’s Track and Field. He also coordinates and oversees all strength and conditioning services provided to Northeastern club sports athletes.
Parent graduated from Elon University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise/sport science and completed his master’s degree in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University in 2017. He is currently a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and continues to further his professional development through many avenues, like Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) courses Postural Respiration, Pelvis Restoration, Myokinematic Restoration, and Cervical Revolution.
