Biography

2019-20: Played in 29 of 33 games ... Tallied a career-high 10 points at Holy Cross (11/19), going 2-for-4 from behind the arc ... Grabbed a career-best six rebounds at Eastern Michigan (12/17) ... Handed out a career-high five assists at Holy Cross and EMU ... Made a career-best 6-of-8 free throws vs. Drake (11/26) in the Gulf Coast Showcase ... Shot 37 percent (15-for-41) from behind the arc.

2018-19: Earned his first career start as a Husky against Davidson (Nov. 18) playing a career best 28 minutes while pulling down 4 rebounds ... Netted a season-high eight points in 18 minutes of action, finishing a perfect 3-of-3 from the field and 2-of-2 from deep against UNCW (Feb. 14) ... Tallied points in seven-straight games from Feb. 9 to March 2 ... Finished with two points in the team’s NCAA tournament game against Kansas (March 21).

2017-18: Finished his freshman season as a Husky playing in 16 games ... Saw his first game action as a Husky against Wentworth (Nov. 12) with his first career points coming on free throws … Notched five points in just two minutes of action against Ohio State (Nov. 19) … Had four points and an assist against St. Bonaventure (Dec. 20).

Before NU: Rated a two-star recruit by ESPN and a three-star recruit by Rivals … A three-year captain and four-year letterwinner for Villa Park High School (Calif.) helping his school to its first ever state championship appearance in school history in his senior season, where he dropped 28 points, as well as appearances in the CIF finals in his freshman and senior years … Behind 18.5 ppg, 6.0 apg and 2.0 rpg, helped his team to an undefeated record at home, a 27-7 overall record and finished with First Team All-State, First Team All-CIF, Second Team All-Orange County and First team and MVP of the North Hills league honors … Also earned First Team All-Crestview League honors in his sophomore and junior seasons and Second Team All-CIF honors in his sophomore year … Finished his career with over 1,200 points including a 30-point, 10 assist effort against Sierra Vista (Nev.) High School in his senior season and finished with six-three pointers in the Nike Extravaganza against Los Alamitos High School in his sophomore year.

Personal: Son of Kenny and Tamara Franklin and brother to Julien … Enjoys photography, fashion and playing NBA 2K in his spare time … Chose Northeastern over BU, Rice and Hawaii … Scheduled to graduate this May with a degree in psychology … Hopes to pursue a career in professional basketball.
