2018-2019: Earned All-Tournament Team honors, finishing with 11 points to punch Northeastern’s ticket into March Madness 2019 (March 12) ... Went 6-of-9 shooting for 17 points and added four rebounds and two steals to defeat Charleston and send the Huskies to the CAA Championship game (March 11) … In his first game back from injury, Shawn score five points and collected two rebounds in the quarterfinals of the CAA tournament (March 10) ... Finished with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks and a steal against James Madison (Jan. 26) ... Protected home court against UNCW (Jan. 19) fending of the Seahawks with 20 points 3 rebounds and an assist ... Occeus’ strong defensive performance led to a 12-point outing with a pair of steals which helped secure the win against the College of Charleston (Jan. 17) … Made 7-12 shots from the field on his way to a season high 21 points at William & Mary (Jan. 12) ... Scored 13 points on an efficient 62.5 percent from the field at Hofstra (Jan. 10) while also collecting 5 rebounds and 4 blocks. 

2017-18: Finished his sophomore campaign as the team's second leading scorer with 10.8 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 1.8 apg, making a team and conference high 64 steals (which ranks sixth all time in the Northeastern record book) while also posting 18 blocks and shooting 45.7 percent from the field ... Posted career high 15 points and notched five rebounds against Furman (Nov. 25) … Tallied 11 points while adding four rebounds, three blocks and three steals against Harvard (Nov. 30) … Notched season-high 16 points, including a clutch three and three steals in win over Vermont (Dec. 9) … Added a career-high six assists and three steals against Kent State (Dec. 18) tallying his second-straight 16-point effort … Notched his first 20-point effort with 21 points, three rebounds, three assists, three steals and a block against James Madison (Dec. 30) … Recorded back-to-back 20-point games when he tallied 20 points, five steals, three rebounds and three assists against Hofstra (Jan. 2). Finished with 18 points against James Madison (Jan. 7) and contributed to the team’s season-high 14 3-pointers, leading the way with four ... Posted 15 points in win over UNCW (Jan. 13) ... Once again filled up the stat sheet with 12 points, four assists, four steals and three rebounds against William & Mary (Jan. 18) ... Filled the score sheet with 16 points, four steals, three blocks, and one assist in their win over Hofstra (Jan. 25) … Scored eight points and had an assist and block against UNCW (Feb. 3) ... Had a career night against Towson (Feb. 22) finishing with 24 points, seven rebounds, four assists, a block, and a steal in a win over the Tigers ... Shot a perfect five-for-five from the line while tallying 18 points in CAA semifinal action against UNCW (March 5) ... 2016-17: Played in all 31 games of the season in his rookie campaign making 27 starts...  Averaged 5.4 points per game while shooting .407 from the field in his first season on Huntington Ave. ... Tallied seven points, two rebounds and a steal in the Huskies' season-opening win over Boston University (Nov. 11) ... Added three points and a rebound in an upset of UConn (Nov. 14) ... Notched three points, two boards, a block and a steal at Boston University (Nov. 18) ... Put on his first double-digit scoring effort with 14 points against LIU Brooklyn (Nov. 19) ... Starred on the defensive end with five steals and a block, and also added nine points and three assists in a win over Maine (Nov. 20) ... Added 10 points, five boards, two assists, two steals and a block in a win over Kent State (Nov. 27) ... Notched five points, one rebound and one assist at Cornell (Nov. 30) ... Registered seven points at Harvard (Dec. 6) ... Grabbed seven rebounds and had four steals in a win over William and Mary (Dec. 31) ... Registered 17 points in a win over Deleware (Jan. 5) ... Netted 14 points on 5-of-6 shooting in a win over Drexel (Jan. 12) ... Finished with 13 points and four rebounds at UNCW (Feb. 25).

Before NU: Rated a three-star recruit by Rivals … Four-year letterwinner spending two years at Park Vista Community High School and two years at Grandview Prep … Named the FABC 2A Player of the Year, Palm Beach County Small Schools All-First Team and to the FSHAA 2A All-State First Team after helping his team to an undefeated record (34-0) and state championship, the only school in the state of Florida to go undefeated in 2015-16 ... Averaged 19.5 points, 9.4 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game during his senior year helping his team to a No. 2 ranking in the state of Florida and a No. 39 ranking in the country by MaxPreps …  Finished with a game-high 28 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals in the state championship game … Finished his junior season tallying 13.5 points per game, 5.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 steals.
                                                                                          
Personal: Son of Duvalous Occeus and MonCarmelle Seme and brother to Shamika, Shania and O’Mel … Parents are natives of Haiti … Enjoys watching basketball, especially if it involves Kobe Bryant, Devin Booker, Klay Thompson, and James Harden … Also enjoys watching TV and playing video games … Hopes to pursue a career in professional basketball … Plans to major in business and management … Class of 2020.
