Rob Moura enters his 16th season at Northeastern, 11th as Head Equipment Manager. Moura served as Temporary Equipment Manager from January to March of 2015 and was hired the full-time position in June 2015.
Moura oversees all equipment operations for every Division I team at Northeastern and works closely with the men’s ice hockey program. He is responsible for maintenance and transportation of equipment, locker room preparation, and ordering new equipment.
In October of 2013, Moura became an Athletic Facilities Coordinator at Northeastern. He worked preparing Matthews Arena, Parsons Field and Dedham Field for all athletic events. He oversaw the basketball court and ice installation at Matthews Arena and operated the zamboni.
Moura joined the Northeastern family in 2010 after graduating from the University of New Hampshire. From 2010 to 2013, he worked as an Equipment Manager for the women’s ice hockey team, the men’s baseball team, and the men and women’s soccer teams.
Prior to his time with the Huskies, Moura worked as a Student Equipment Manager for the women’s hockey program at New Hampshire. He assisted in locker room preparations and coordinated visiting team accommodations.
He currently resides in East Greenwich, RI with his wife, Melissa, daughter, Michaela, and sons, Jonathan and Theodore.
