Modi was named to Edward-Lloyd's staff in September 2025 and brings seven years of experience to Huntington Ave.
Prior to Northeastern, Modi worked for the Houston Rockets organization as head video coordinator. While there, he was responsible for creating film for all coaching staff and team meetings, oversaw the facilitation of all video and scouting reports between the coaching staff and players, and created post-game sorters for Coach Udoka, and personal post-game sorters for leading Rockets players.
Prior to the Rockets, Modi worked overseas as an assistant coach for Hapoel Tel Aviv in the EuroCup. While there, he was the front bench assistant coach who was responsible for player development and scouting. Modi also held the responsibility of creating all EuroCup related personnel and team video reports, and generated video and written scouts regarding potential roster additions.
From 2019-2021, Modi worked for the Dallas Mavericks within player development and analytics. In his player development role, he worked with athletes on a daily basis as a part of the player development staff, assisted with on-court player development activities such as individual workout sessions, practices, and pre-game warm-ups. In his analytics assistant role, he prepared live and post-game reports to examine both team and individual performance, oversaw SecondSpectrum video projects, partook in pre-draft assessment process by conducting video research, personal interviews, and reporting potential prospects.
Prior to the Mavericks, Modi worked at Sarah Lawrence College as an assistant coach for their men's basketball program. With the men's basketball program, he had the responsibilities of conducting team practices and individual workouts, in-game play calling and defensive adjustments, as well as preparing and presenting all aspects of opponent scouting, such as team and personnel video clips with written scouting reports.
Modi graduated from Lehman College with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He also earned his master's degree in Computer Science at Marist College.
