Glessner joined the Northeastern women's basketball coaching staff in 2014 following four seasons at Loyola as an assistant coach. Glessner also served as the team’s recruiting coordinator in 2013-14, where she managed the recruitment of prospective student-athletes in accordance with NCAA regulations.
As an assistant coach, she was responsible for skill development of the guards and point guards through game film and on court instruction. Glessner also worked on opponent scouting, and generated detailed scouting reports for players and coaches, in addition to breaking down game film.
Glessner was a four-year student-athlete for the Greyhounds, finishing her career ranked eighth in program history with 265 career assists. As a senior, she averaged 14.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 33.6 minutes per game en route to First Team All-Metro Atlantic honors in 2007. She also helped Loyola to the 2006 MAAC title game and the conference semifinals in 2007. Glessner earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Loyola in 2007, and her Masters in sports administration from Canisius College in 2010. Following her collegiate career, she played three seasons of professional basketball in Europe.
