Before College: Graduated from Marianapolis Preparatory School (Thompson, Connecticut) in 2015 as a two-year student-athlete on the girls’ basketball team (2013-15) under head coach Lauren Moore ... Her 2014-15 accolades at Marianapolis include: serving as team captain; averaging a double-double (12.0 points and 12.0 rebounds per game); recording 12 double-doubles; shooting just under 50 percent from the floor; hauling in 15 or more rebounds on five different occasions, including two 20-rebound games ... McDonald's All-American nominee during her senior season ... Her 2013-14 accolades at Marianapolis include: averaging 12.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game; recording seven double-doubles; shooting above 50 percent from the field ... Two-time New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) All-Star (2014, 2015) ... Defensive Player of the Year at Marianapolis ... Attended Wachusett Regional High School (Holden, Massachusetts), where she was a two-year student-athlete on the girls’ basketball team (2011-13) under head coach Jim Oxford ... Personal: Interested in studying business administration and marketing at Northeastern ... Primary hobbies include playing the guitar and listening to music.

Coach Cole on Aho (from Aug. 2017): “Although we will miss Rachel on the court this season, she will be a valuable addition to our unit of post players during 2018-19. The success she carries from playing in the BIG EAST will help elevate our post game. Rachel can stretch the floor and has nice mid-range touch, especially from 15 to 17 feet away. She is a force inside and will certainly skew a number of rebounds our way when she is able to take the floor.”
