2019:

• CAA Defensive Player of the Week (Sept. 9)

• 2019 GBD Invite All-Tournament Team

• Played in 29 matches for the Huskies; including one start

• Recorded a career high 29 digs in a win against Seton Hall

• Amassed a career-high of two kills in the CAA Quarterfinals against Elon 

• Recorded a total of 389 digs this season, a career-high total during her time at Northeastern

• Concluded her career with a CAA Tournament appearance for the fourth consecutive year

2018:

• Played in all 30 matches for the Huskies

• Amassed a season total of 270 digs

• Registered 13 digs and her first career block against Towson

• Helped the Huskies reach their third consecutive CAA Tournament appearance

2017:

• Played in 29 matches for the Huskies this season

• Amassed 161 digs total for the season

• Opened the season with two digs against Temple

• Added a season-high 17 digs and one ace against Towson

• Earned nine digs against Hofstra in the CAA Quarterfinals

2016:

• Played in all 31 matches for the Huskies

• Set her career-high of 15 assists in her collegiate debut against Drake

• Added a season-high of 19 digs at Delaware

• Helped the Huskies reach the CAA Tournament Quarterfinals for the first time in two seasons

Before NU: Three-year varsity letter winner at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy... Team captain... Tallied 1,103 assists, 37 aces, 176 digs, and 82 kills under coach Ben Diaz... Led team to Mission League Championship... Four-year varsity letter winner in swimming and diving.

From Nichols: "Clare comes to us from San Gabriel Elite Volleyball Club where coach Ben Diaz has done an exceptional job in developing players for club Director Kenji Mukai. Clare is a very talented setter with strength to the pins and a constant eye on the middle attack. She also has progressed in her club career from playing as a defensive specialist, and so offers us options in receive and defense in general. She is capable of running a 5-1, as she has done at times, and of course, with her defensive prowess, makes an ideal back-row setter. She has the size coupled with the left hand attack to always be a threat and can serve with aggression and great location control. I am excited to see how Clare adapts to our system and, of course, to her new teammates. I am certain she will excel at whatever we ask her to do as I have seen a real passion in her leadership style and commitment to her craft."
