Jaime Snyder

Newly appointed women's volleyball head coach Brendan McGourn has announced the newest addition to his coaching staff, with the hiring of Jaime Snyder to serve as Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator.

Snyder joins the Huskies from Division II D'Youville University, where she served as the head coach for both men's and women's volleyball. During her time with the Saints, Snyder led the D'Youville women's team to its first conference championship win and first NCAA DII Tournament appearance in program history. Her roster posted a strong 3.76 GPA last fall, after enforcing a semester requirement of 3.35 or higher. She also assisted in the game day operations of both men's and women's programs, including the teams' travel, fundraising, and scheduling, to face tough non-conference opponents in preparation for conference play.

Prior to her time as head coach of D'Youville, Snyder spent four years at Hartford University as an assistant women's volleyball coach. Along with her coaching duties, Snyder once again showcased a wide range of skills including scouting, recruiting, budgeting, and even maintaining the program's social media presence. Before Hartford, she worked as a graduate assistant for Smith College's women's volleyball team for two years (2017-19) and also saw time as an assistant coach at St. John Fisher College from 2015-17.

Snyder graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2015 with a bachelor's in exercise science, before earning her masters in exercise and sport studies in 2019 from Smith College.
