Hartford 7, Northeastern 1

BROOKLINE, MA - Hartford midfielder Katharina Lindner scored four goals to lead the Hawks past Northeastern 7-1 on Sunday afternoon. Malin Engman scored the goal that would prove to be the game-winner for Hartford in the 17th minute and also added an assist on Lindner's first goal. Liz Dyjack scored the lone goal for the Huskies in the first half to cut the lead to 2-1, but it was all Hartford from then on out as the Hawks added five unanswered goals. NU was outshot 24-4 in the match with all four shots coming in the first half. Shellie Parkinson recorded eight saves and reserve goalkeeper Cynthia Slowik had two in net for the Huskies. Hartford goalkeeper Anne Nilssen had two saves in the victory.
