TOWSON, MD - The Northeastern women's soccer team tied with America East foe Towson on Sunday afternoon in Maryland.
Towson got on the board first courtesy of a goal from Amanda Zachmann just 2:43 into the game. The game remained scoreless for the rest of the first half and Towson took a 1-0 lead into the break.
At the 64:45 mark, NU's Caitlin Springer sent a shot from point-blank range past Towson goalie Yasmin Alter. Springer's goal, which was the first goal the Huskies have ever scored against the Tigers, came off a rebound.
NU is now 5-2-3 overall and 1-1-2 in America East play. Next up for the Dogs is Maine in Orono on Oct. 11 at 3 p.m.
