Pedro Pena homered over Fenway's centerfield wall and John Burns pitched a complete game, allowing only one earned run as the Huskies topped Harvard 7-2 in the Beanpot consolation game.
Ben Beck tripled to the triangle in center, scoring two to give the Huskies a 2-0 lead early in the first inning. Pena's homer put NU up 4-0 before Harvard even came to bat. The Huskies would add single runs in the second and third to go up 6-0. Harvard scored single runs in the sixth and seventh, and NU tallied again in the seventh for a 7-2 final.
Beck went 2-3 on the day, with three RBI, giving him a two-day tournament total of 4-7, with a home run, a triple and four RBI.
Burns' complete game was his first of the season.
