Brown sophomore Meghan Schreck picked up the game-winning goal in the 26th minute on a nice cross from fellow sophomore Tory Manchester to lead the Bears to their third win of the season. Brown would add two more goals in a six minute span during the middle of the second half to ensure the victory.

The Huskies fall to 2-3 with the loss while the Bears improve to 3-1-2 this season. Northeastern has been shutout in each of its three losses this year.

The shots in the match were near even with NU taking a slight advantage, 21-20, but the Huskies came up with more shots on goal, forcing Brown goalkeeper Sarah Gervais to make 14 saves. Northeastern goalkeeper Cynthia Slowik posted five saves.

The Huskies take the field again on Sunday when they host St. Bonaventure at 1 p.m. on Parsons Field.
