Junior defender Brenna Matthews scored for the Huskies in the 52nd minute off a corner from freshman midfielder Tinna Nielsen to give NU a 1-0 lead. But former Husky Caitlin Whelan tied the game for the Wildcats in the 80th minute.

Both teams had two shots in overtime, but were unable to create legitimate scoring chances.

Junior keeper Annie Petrofsky had five saves in the game.

The Huskies are back in action Friday at 3 p.m. when they head across town to face Boston College.
