The Northeastern University women's soccer team continued its scoring drought with a 1-0 loss to Harvard Friday at Parsons Field.
The Huskies were out shot 13-1 in the first half but the strong NU defense of senior Laura Johnson and juniors Emilee Ellison and Brenna Matthews were able to keep the Crimson from scoring.
Katherine Sheeleigh put Harvard on the board in the 65th minute with an unassisted goal from 20-yards out into the right corner.
With less than 10 minutes left in the game Ellison and junior Maria Picard both came close to scoring with shots off the cross bar but were unable to tie the game, falling to 1-2 on the season.
The Huskies are back in action Monday at Holy Cross. The game starts at 6 p.m.
