The Northeastern men's cross country team achieved its highest finish in program history at the 2010 CAA Championship since joining the association, claiming third place on Saturday at the UNC Wilmington.
Rookie harrier
Eric Jenkins was decorated with All-CAA honors after capturing an individual finish of ninth place with a mark of 24:45 at the 8K trial. The Portsmouth, N.H. native has led Northeastern in every race in which he's competed this fall.
Jenkins topped 62 runners in the field of 71 to help key NU's team finish.
Classmate
Brian Doyle also continued his impressive rookie campaign, clocking in at 25:06 for a 17th-place finish. Sophomore
Daniel Grant crossed the line twenty seconds later, coming in 21st with a time of 25:26.

John Jantz posted a time of 25:58 for 34th place. Senior
Teddy Vrountas crossed the line seven spots later at 26:17 for 41st place while freshman Michael McKenzie was not far behind, coming in at 45th with a time of 26:22. Senior
Joe Siravo clocked in five seconds later in 47th place at 26:27.
William & Mary continued its CAA dominance in cross country, earning a first place finish for the 11th-consecutive year.
Northeastern will enter the NCAA Regional Championship in Madison, Conn. at Hammonnaset Park on Saturday, Nov. 13.
