Huskies row through Holy Cross

The Northeastern men's crew defeated Holy Cross in a scrimmage over the 2,000-meter Charles River course on Saturday, May 7. The Huskies were down two seats at 500 but pulled even at 750 and by 1,500 had a length lead. They picked up another length and a half over the final 500 to finish at 6:16.6 to the Crusaders' 6:28.4.

Northeastern's vaunted freshman boat, which is seeded fourth in the Eastern Sprint poll, flew down the course in 6:14.4 to win by over five lengths.
