BOSTON - Fresh off keeping its second clean sheet of the year Wednesday night against Holy Cross, the Northeastern men's soccer team will be making its last appearance of the 2015 season at Parsons Field on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m. as the Huskies will host College of Charleston on Senior Day. NU will need to secure all three points against the Cougars to remain in the hunt for the final spot in the CAA tournament.

LAST TIME OUT

Khesanio Hall timed his run to perfection in the first half of the Huskies' 1-0 win against Holy Cross on Oct. 21, gently flicking the game-winning goal over the Crusaders' keeper in the 31st minute. Sophomore Ackim Mpofu and Kevin Carvalho each grabbed their second assists of the season on Hall's second goal of the year. Northeastern goalkeeper Jonathan Thuresson stopped two shots on goal and earned the fifth clean sheet of his career.

HALL RIDES THREE-GAME POINT STREAK

With his second goal of the year on Oct. 21 against Holy Cross, Khesanio Hall extended his point streak to three consecutive games. Prior to Wednesday, Hall had been credited with assists against No. 22 Hofstra (Oct. 14) and Delaware (Oct. 21).

ONE HALF, ONE SHOT

Northeastern held Holy Cross to just one shot attempt during the first half of the two schools' matchup on Oct. 21, tying the fewest number of shots NU had allowed in a half during the 2015 season. The Huskies had previously held Fairfield to one shot attempt during the first half back on Sept. 12.

CAA PLAYOFF PICTURE

Entering Saturday, four teams have clinched a spot in the CAA tournament: No. 10 Elon (5-1-0 CAA, 15 pts.), No. 24 Hofstra (5-1-0 CAA, 15 pts.), College of Charleston (3-1-1 CAA, 10 pts.), and UNCW (3-2-1 CAA, 10 pts.). Delaware (3-2-0 CAA, 9 pts.) can clinch a playoff spot outright with at least one draw in any of its final three conference games. James Madison (2-2-2, 8 pts.) can clinch a playoff spot with at least a victory or two draws during its final two league games. Northeastern, William & Mary, and Drexel (1-5-0 CAA, 3 pts.) would each need to win their final two CAA games to be eligible for the CAA tournament.

NU OFFENSE SHINES IN LOSS TO HENS

Northeastern was edged out by Delaware, 3-2, on Oct. 17 at Parsons Field, with all five of the game's goals having been scored during the first 21 minutes of action. An own goal by Delaware allowed the Huskies to slip in front, 1-0, in the third minute, but three unanswered goals within a ten-minute span put the Blue Hens back in front, 3-1. Ackim Mpofu and Khesanio Hall assisted on Frantzdy Pierrot's team-leading fifth goal of the season in the 21st minute, but NU was shut down the rest of the way as the 3-2 score line held in favor of Delaware.

TARGET PRACTICE

Northeastern successfully led its opponent in shots and shots on goal for the first time during the 2015 season on Oct. 17 against Delaware. The Huskies outshot the Blue Hens, 14-12, overall, and, 7-6, on goal. NU also led both statistical categories for the second consecutive game on Oct. 21 against Holy Cross.

NU SENDS NO. 22 HOFSTRA TO OT

After Christian McKenna's goal in the 54th minute knotted Northeastern's Oct. 14 match against No. 22 Hofstra at 1-1, the Pride scored a golden goal in the 107th minute as the Huskies were downed, 2-1, in double overtime. Khesanio Hall assisted on the Huskies' lone goal, raising the sophomore's season total to three during the 2015 season. NU posted 15 shots during the match, but was outshot by Hofstra, 3-0, during the second overtime period.
