BOSTON – A 2015 regular season filled with ranked opposition will come to an end for the Northeastern men's soccer team on Tuesday, Nov. 3, as the Huskies travel to Hanover, New Hampshire, to take on Ivy-League undefeated No. 24 Dartmouth at 7 p.m. NU will be facing a ranked Big Green team for the second consecutive meeting, having lost to a No. 10 Dartmouth squad, 1-0, on Sept. 6, 2009.
ALL-TIME AGAINST DARTMOUTH Northeastern has claimed two victories against Dartmouth in seven tries dating back to the 1995 season (1995, 2003). NU is 2-3-0 when playing the Big Green in Hanover, where the Huskies earned their last win against Dartmouth on Oct. 28, 2003 (W, 1-0).
AGAINST RANKED TEAMS IN 2015 Despite going 0-5-0 against NSCAA ranked teams this season, Northeastern has held its own against considerable competition. The Huskies have come within one goal of upsetting their ranked opponent on four different occasions, including a 2-1, double-overtime loss to No. 22 Hofstra on Oct. 14. NU kept No. 22 UNCW to just three shots on goal in a 1-0 loss on Sept. 26, and held a 1-0 lead against No. 13 Elon for the majority of the first half on Oct. 7. Northeastern played more than 82 minutes of scoreless soccer against No. 5 North Carolina on Oct. 27.
LAST TIME OUT Northeastern needed all three points against Drexel on Oct. 31 in order to remain in the hunt for the final spot in the CAA tournament, but surrendered the game's only goal to the Dragons with 45 seconds remaining in regulation. NU outshot Drexel, 23-11, including 8-3 on goal, but was held scoreless for the second straight game and seventh time this season.
Frantzdy Pierrot tied a season high with six shot attempts, while
Christian McKenna attempted five shots, including three on goal.
SHOOTING GALLERY As a team, the Huskies powered home 23 shots against Drexel on Oct. 31, the most Northeastern has accumulated in a single game since Oct. 16, 2010, when NU tallied 28 shots in a double-overtime, scoreless tie against UNCW.
NO. 5 UNC TOO MUCH FOR HUSKIES Facing its toughest test of the 2015 season, Northeastern played more than 80 minutes of scoreless soccer against No. 5 North Carolina on Oct. 7, conceding the game-winner to the Tar Heels in the 84th minute. NU goalkeeper
Jonathan Thuresson posted five saves for the fourth time this year, while
Frantzdy Pierrot and
Christian McKennacombined for four of the Huskies' six shots on the night.
NU CELEBRATES SENIOR DAY VICTORY A one-time volley by
Christian McKenna and a successful penalty kick by
Khesanio Hall were the only goals that Northeastern needed against College of Charleston on Oct. 24 as the Huskies defeated the Cougars, 2-1, on Senior Day at Parsons Field. Hall finished the game with three points, having assisted on McKenna's goal in the 20th minute of the first half.
Frantzdy Pierrot collected his second assist as well, while
Jonathan Thuresson upped his season save count to 41.

Martin Nygaard has been on the field for all 1,509 minutes that the Huskies have played this season. Nygaard and teammate
Harry Swartz are the only two Northeastern players to have started in each of the Huskies' 16 games this year.
