Â
The Huskies, on the other hand, tied the game up in 47 seconds of action jump started by a last second jumper by Ford as the shot clock wound down. On the other end of the court,
Anthony Green forced a miss and the ball was dished to Ford where he drained a wide open three.
Â
The second half was filled with ties and lead changes for both teams, but at the 11:40 mark, the Huskies took the lead on a Stahl layup and never looked back. Aided by Stahl and Ford, Northeastern extended its lead to eight, before Lipscomb started to fight back.
Â
But
T.J. Williams silenced the Bisons with a three, his first basket of the weekend, to give the Huskies a 10-point lead and seal the victory.
