Buy Tickets | 2015-16 Yearbook

BOSTON – When the Northeastern men's ice hockey team hosts No. 2/3 Boston College on Sunday afternoon at Matthews Arena, fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed teddy bear to the game. Fans can throw their bears onto the ice during the first intermission. The bears will then be distributed to local hospitals and homeless shelters.

Fans are encouraged to wear black to Sunday's game, which pits the Huskies against the Eagles for the 227th time, and marks the second straight home game that Northeastern has battled either the nation's No. 1 or No. 2 team. Jersey t-shirts will also be given out to students as they enter the arena.

Northeastern is coming off a 7-1 victory against Colgate in the consolation game in Belfast, Northern Ireland last weekend. Sunday is the first of two remaining home games for the Huskies before the holiday break.
