ResultsBURLINGTON, Vt. – The Northeastern women's swimming and diving team took home a 155-145 victory against Vermont on Monday at Forbush Natatorium, extending their record to 6-3 overall (2-2, Colonial Athletic Association).
"It was a great victory today," said head coach Roy Coates. "We had contributions from virtually everyone. I love how the team pulled together."
"There was a lot of synergy on deck," said senior Taylor Brew. "It was a great checkpoint where we had the opportunity to fine-tune little details of our races before heading into championship season." The day was highlighted by three pool records set by the Huskies in Catamount Country, nine first-place finishes, 23 top-three marks and 41 top-five performances.

Sara Touchette-McGowan won three events apiece, including the 200 medley relay with
Delaney Lanker in 1:45.46 – one of the three new pool records.
Pool records• Ellis went on to win the 100 breaststroke with a mark of 1:04.35.
• Touchette-McGowan tagged the wall first in the 100 butterfly in 55.47.
Meet highlights• Carly Schnabel topped the Catamounts in three events, which included the 200 medley relay, the 200 freestyle (1:54.22) and the 100 freestyle (52.80).
• Lanker's second win was in the 200 butterfly (2:08.00).
• Christine Leong swept the backstroke events with marks of 58.28 in the 100 and 2:06.09 in the 200.
• Jacquelyn Gover and
Caroline Gonsalves each earned second in the diving portions. Gover tabbed 249.30 points in the 1-meter, while Gonsalves tallied 234.37 in the 3-meter.
