The Huskies and Charleston will meet for the first time this season as Northeastern looks to extend a three-game win streak over the Cougars.

SCOUTING THE COUGARS• The Cougars enter their game with the Huskies with a 12-7 record on the season and 4-4 in conference play.
• College of Charleston's leading scorer, Canyon Barry (19.7 ppg) is out for the rest of the season after injuring his shoulder against William & Mary.
• Charleston is now led by Cameron Johnson who is averaging 11.7 points per game. Four different Tigers are averaging double figures on the season including Barry, Johnson, Marquise Pointer (10.7 ppg) and Jarrell Brantley (10.5 ppg)
• Charleston has started the seven players through the first 19 games of action this season.
• Brantley is leading Towson with 6.3 rebounds per game while Payton Husey has dished out a team-high 66 assists on the year. Â

THIS SEASON• College of Charleston is off to a 12-7 start to the season, 4-4 in conference play, in a tie for sixth with the Huskies entering Thursday's game.
• The Cougars finished non-conference play with an 8-3 record including a win over LSU at home in the midst of a five-game win streak.
• The Tigers have defeated JMU, Hofstra, Towson, and Delaware in conference play, while falling to William and Mary twice, Drexel and Elon.

LAST WEEK IN HUSKY BASKETBALL• Northeastern began the week in historic fashion with a triple overtime thriller at Matthews Arena against Hofstra on Thursday night
• The triple OT game was just the second in Northeastern history (1982 NCAA Tournament vs. Villanova)
• Five different Huskies scored in double digits, while two Huskies tallied double-doubles in the game

Zach Stahl notched his second double-double of the season (fourth career) via 19 points and 11 boards

BREAKING SCHOOL RECORDS• The 2015-16 men's basketball team has broken a couple of school records this season
• Just two games into the season the Huskies broke a school record after forcing 24 Wentworth turnovers, the Huskies stole the ball away from the Leopards a school record 20 times
• The mark bests the previous record of 19 steals set against Vermont on Dec. 5, 1985.
• After tying the school record for 3-pointers in a game with 14 against Delaware (Jan. 7), as eight different players connected from deep on the night, the Huskies broke the school record in a triple overtime thriller vs. Hofstra (Jan. 21)
• Northeastern connected on 17 threes in the game led by

David Walker is having a career year for the Huskies
• With 32 points against Towson, Walker notched his third, 30-point game of the season, the first Husky to do so since J.J. Barea finished the 2004-05 season with six 30-point games.
• Walker also notched 30-point efforts at Western Michigan (Dec. 7) and Lipscomb (Nov. 21)
• This season, Walker has also notched his first career double-doubles
• Walker's first double-double came on 26 points and a career-high 12 rebounds at Elon (Dec. 31)
• His second came in Northeastern's triple OT game against Hofstra (Feb. 21) via 18 points and a career best 13 assists
• Walker became the first Husky player to record a double-double via the points/rebounds and points/assists fashion in the same season since J.J. Barea in 2003-04

• Walker is 97-113 on the season from the free-throw line, with an 85.8 FT percentage which tops the conference and ranks 48th in the country.
• His 97 free throws made rank third in the conference and 48th in the country
• The Huskies, as a team, have taken 455 free throws, fifth in the conference and have capitalized on 329 of them (third in the CAA) for a free throw percentage of 72.3%, first in the conference and 75th nationally
• Northeastern has held its opponents to just 348 free throw attempts this year (which, would rank 306th in the nation in free throw attempts as a single team)

Bill Coen is currently the third-winningest coach in Northeastern history with 157 career wins (Jim Calhoun, 250 wins in 14 seasons; Dick Dukeshire, 204 wins in 13 seasons)
