BOSTON – Riding a four-game unbeaten streak, the Northeastern women's hockey team (3-2-1) will look to start Hockey East play on a winning note when rival Boston University (3-1-1) visits Matthews Arena on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. contest. The Huskies won both home meetings against the Terriers last season, claiming a 7-1 triumph on Oct. 24, 2015 and a 6-2 victory on Feb. 20, 2016.

LAST TIME OUT
Northeastern went 1-0-1 against Syracuse over the weekend with a 2-2 tie on Oct. 14 and a 1-0 win the following day. Sophomore goaltender Brittany Bugalski was phenomenal, stopping 53 of 55 shots (.964 save percentage) over the two games. Senior Heather Mottau netted the only goal Saturday for her second game-winner of the season, while juniors Denisa Krizova and McKenna Brand recorded points in both games to extend their point streaks to five straight games entering Tuesday's tilt.

BUGALSKI HONORED BY WHEA
Sophomore goaltender Brittany Bugalski was honored Monday as the WHEA Defensive Player of the Week. The sophomore helped the Huskies to an undefeated weekend against Syracuse (1-0-1), while improving her record on the season to 3-1-1. Bugalski posted an impressive stat line for the two-game set with the Orange, earning a .964 save percentage (53 saves on 55 shots), a 0.94 goals-against average and the immaculate 27-save shutout on Saturday afternoon.

BRITTANY THE BRICK WALL
Over her last four games, sophomore netminder Brittany Bugalski has stopped 90 of 93 shots (.968 save percentage) and has posted a sparkling 0.74 goals against average. Bugalski has two shutouts over that span, blanking Lindenwood with 10 saves on Oct. 7 and denying Syracuse with 27 stops on Oct. 15. Bugalski ranks ninth in the NCAA with a 1.58 GAA this season.

DYNAMIC DUO
Linemates Denisa Krizova (8 points) and McKenna Brand (7 points) have found an instant chemistry this season as the Huskies' top two leading scorers. Krizova and Brand each scored in the 2-2 tie against Syracuse on Oct. 14, and then combined to set up Heather Mottau's game-winning goal the following day. Both Krizova (4-4-8) and Brand (4-3-7) enter Tuesday's contest riding five-game point streaks.

ONE HUNDRED AND COUNTING
Junior Denisa Krizova became the 25th player in program history to reach 100 career points when she set up Heather Mottau's game-winning goal late in the first period of a 4-1 win at Lindenwood on Oct. 8. Including Krizova, only 10 players in program history have managed to hit 100 or more points while playing in less than 100 career games.
