BOSTON – Riding a four-game unbeaten streak, the Northeastern women's hockey team (3-2-1) will look to start Hockey East play on a winning note when rival Boston University (3-1-1) visits Matthews Arena on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. contest. The Huskies won both home meetings against the Terriers last season, claiming a 7-1 triumph on Oct. 24, 2015 and a 6-2 victory on Feb. 20, 2016.

Sophomore goaltender
Brittany Bugalski was honored Monday as the WHEA Defensive Player of the Week. The sophomore helped the Huskies to an undefeated weekend against Syracuse (1-0-1), while improving her record on the season to 3-1-1. Bugalski posted an impressive stat line for the two-game set with the Orange, earning a .964 save percentage (53 saves on 55 shots), a 0.94 goals-against average and the immaculate 27-save shutout on Saturday afternoon.

Over her last four games, sophomore netminder
Brittany Bugalski has stopped 90 of 93 shots (.968 save percentage) and has posted a sparkling 0.74 goals against average. Bugalski has two shutouts over that span, blanking Lindenwood with 10 saves on Oct. 7 and denying Syracuse with 27 stops on Oct. 15. Bugalski ranks ninth in the NCAA with a 1.58 GAA this season.
