BOSTON – Northeastern men's soccer head coach
Chris Gbandi revealed Tuesday the dates to four Summer ID Clinic sessions that the program will be holding between June and August 2016 at Parsons Field in Brookline, Massachusetts. Any and all boys in the ninth through 12th grade are invited to attend one or multiple camps, which will be held this summer on June 29, June 30, July 21, and August 6.
Â
Designed to resemble a typical day of preseason training, the Northeastern men's soccer Summer ID Clinic is geared towards providing camp members with the chance to experience life as a Division I student-athlete. Those attending will benefit from a variety of small technical drills to full 11-on-11 matches led by coach Gbandi, his complete coaching staff, and current NU student-athletes. Coach Gbandi will also direct a college recruitment seminar and conduct a question-and-answer portion between coaches and camp members.
Â
Camp sessions will run daily from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with registration beginning at 9:30 a.m. Pricing for each Summer ID Clinic is listed at $150 per day. Those who register for multiple camp sessions will receive a one-time, $50 discount. Questions concerning clinic pricing may be directed towards Northeastern assistant coach
Cam Omsberg by email at c.omsberg@neu.edu.
Â
To ensure the best clinic experience possible and an ideal player-coach ratio, camp participants will be limited each day to 55 field players and 10 goalkeepers on a first-come, first-served basis.
Â
Although full refunds will not be granted for cancelations, the Northeastern men's soccer program does offer Cancellation Protection. Due at the time of online registration, Cancellation Protection allows participants the opportunity to receive a full refund up to seven days prior to the start of a day camp and credit towards a future camp if canceling within seven days.
