BOSTON – The Northeastern women's hockey team (5-6-1, 3-3-0 WHEA) will look to get back on the winning track this weekend when it takes on Merrimack (4-7-2, 1-3-1 WHEA) for a home-and-home series beginning Friday at Matthews Arena at 2 p.m.
• The Huskies won two of three meetings with the Warriors last season, and own a 5-1-0 record against Merrimack since the program joined Hockey East in 2015.
• Northeastern head coach
Dave Flint will be coaching in his 300th career game at the helm of the program on Friday. Since his appointment in 2008, Flint has guided the Red & Black to a 161-109-29 overall record (.587 winning percentage), including a 102-62-16 mark (.611 winning percentage) in Hockey East games.

• Catherine Tufts scored two goals to lead the Maine Black Bears to a 4-2 victory over Northeastern on Tuesday night at Alfond Arena.
• Sophomore Matti Hartman and freshman Veronika Pettey lit the lamp for Northeastern. Pettey's goal pushed her into a tie with
Kasidy Anderson for the team lead in points with 11.
• Brooke Hobson picked up the secondary assist on Hartman's goal for her fourth point in the last five games. With seven points (1-6-7) on the year, Hobson is the highest-scoring rookie defenseman in Hockey East.

Denisa Krizova enters Friday's game with 148 career points in 116 games. With one more point, Krizova will pass Carolyn Sullivan (1980-84) for sole possession of seventh place among the highest scorers in program history.

Lauren Kelly has recorded at least a point in four of her six games played this season. With one more point, Kelly will become the 13th blue-liner in program history to reach 50 career points.
• Freshman Veronika Pettey ranks second in Hockey East and sixth nationally among rookie scorers with 11 points in 12 games. Pettey was named the Hockey East Rookie of the Week on Oct. 9.
• Sophomore Paige Capistran leads the team and ranks third among Hockey East skaters with 22 blocked shots this season. Capistran blocked a team-high four shots on Tuesday at Maine.
• Northeastern's 13 power-play goals are tied for the most in the nation this season. Junior
Kasidy Anderson leads the team and ranks third nationally with four power-play tallies thus far.
