BOSTON – Fresh off a weekend split against No. 2 Boston College, the Huskies (12-10-2, 8-7-1 WHEA) will take on another intracity foe on Tuesday when Boston University (8-13-4, 4-10-3 WHEA) pays a visit to Matthews Arena for a 7 p.m. puck drop.

• This will be the third and final scheduled meeting between the teams in Hockey East play this season; Northeastern won both previous contests, claiming a 3-2 overtime win at Walter Brown Arena on Oct. 6 and a 6-3 victory at Matthews Arena the following day.

• Sophomore Matti Hartman netted the OT winner in the first meeting against BU as the Huskies rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to prevail on the road. Junior Kasidy Anderson and senior Taytum Clairmont added a goal and an assist apiece.

• Senior McKenna Brand (two goals, one assist) was one of four Huskies to record a multi-point game in Northeastern's 6-3 win over the Terriers on Oct. 7. Senior Denisa Krizova, freshman Veronika Pettey and redshirt junior Tori Sullivan each posted a goal and an assist.

LAST TIME OUT
• Northeastern earned a split against No. 2 Boston College on Jan. 12-13. The Huskies scored three third-period goals to upend the Eagles, 4-2, on Friday to pick up their second win over a top-two opponent this season. Sophomore Andrea Renner scored the game-winning goal and junior netminder Brittany Bugalski turned away 26 of 28 shots.

• Boston College avenged the loss the following day in a wild 5-4 overtime decision at Matthews Arena. Senior Shelby Herrington scored twice for the Huskies, while senior McKenna Brand dished out three assists to become the 28th player in program history to surpass the 100-point plateau for her career.

• Senior Denisa Krizova also hit a milestone in Saturday's game as she became just the fourth player in program history to reach 100 career assists. Krizova joins Fiona Rice (118), Kendall Coyne (108) and Tina Cardinale (104) as the only players to hit the benchmark.

• With one assist on Saturday, Krizova also recorded her 100th career point in Hockey East play. Only BU's Victoria Bach has recorded more points (115) in league games among active WHEA players.

BRAND NAMED WHEA PLAYER OF THE WEEK
• After racking up six points (1-5-6) in three games last week, senior McKenna Brand was named the Hockey East Player of the Week on Monday by the league office.

• Brand notched the game-winning goal and added an assist in a 4-2 win over UConn on Jan. 9, before piling up four assists on Jan. 12-13 against No. 2 BC.
• Brand has now recorded points in eight straight games entering Tuesday's contest vs. BU. Over that span, the senior has racked up 15 points on five goals and 10 assists.

BATTLE TESTED
• According to USCHO.com, the Huskies have played the toughest schedule in the nation this season.

• NU is 2-5-1 against ranked teams thus far, including a win over No. 1 Wisconsin on Nov. 24, a victory over No. 2 Boston College on Jan. 12, and a tie vs. No. 1 Clarkson on Sept. 29.

• Northeastern is the only team in the country with multiple wins over teams ranked No. 2 or higher in the polls this season.

BUGALSKI MOVES UP THE CHARTS
With 26 saves in Northeastern's 4-2 win at Boston College on Jan. 12, junior netminder Brittany Bugalski moved into a tie with Florence Schelling for fourth place in the NU record books with 49 career victories. With one more win, Bugalski would join Erika Silva (61), Shannon Meyers (57) and Chloe Desjardins (55) as the only goaltenders in program history to win 50 or more games.
