HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – Three different Huskies finished with double-doubles as the Northeastern men's basketball team came away with a 14-point win at Hofstra on Thursday night to secure sole possession of first place in the CAA.

The win marked the Huskies' first in Hempstead since the 2014-15 season and snapped a five-game losing skid to the Pride.

Vasa Pusica (16 points, 10 assists), Anthony Green (14 points, 12 rebounds), and Bolden Brace (14 points, 10 rebounds) recorded the third, second and second double-doubles of their careers respectively and first of the season for each of them.

Green was the first to achieve the feat when he pulled down his 10th board of the night, one of six offensive rebounds, midway through the second half. Pusica tallied his 10th assist, a career-high for the junior, on a Green outside jumper with four-and-a-half minutes to go and Brace pulled down a defensive rebound in the final seconds to capture his 10th board of the game.

The two teams battled back and forth in the first half until the Huskies' defense held the Pride scoreless for a three-minute span that saw Northeastern gain a 26-16 advantage which helped them head to the locker room with a 36-30 edge.

The team came out in the second half making five of their first six shots, gaining a 12-point advantage securing the lead, and ultimately the win.

The Huskies (14-7, 7-2 CAA) had five different players finish with double-digit scoring for the first time this season while the Pride (12-9, 5-4) were led by Justin Wright-Foreman who finished with 20 points on 6-of-21 shooting from the field while Rokas Gustys finished with a double-double putting up 13 points and pulling down 13 boards.
