Kendall Coyne Schofield won her sixth Four Nations Cup championship with the U.S. Women's National Team on Saturday evening as Team USA skated past Canada, 5-2.
Coyne Schofield scored the Americans' final goal and assisted on Brianna Decker's game-winning goal to finish the tournament with five points (one goal, four assists) in four games.
The Palos Heights, Illinois native previously helped the USWNT capture the gold medal at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics – her second Olympic medal after earning silver in 2014 – and has also won five IIHF Women's World Championships with Team USA.
In 2016, Coyne Schofield was named the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award winner as the top player in Division-I women's hockey after leading Northeastern to the NCAA tournament for the first time in program history.
Coyne Schofield had 50 goals and 84 points that year en route to breaking the program records for all-time points (249) and goals (141).
