BOSTON – The Northeastern men's basketball team is back in action on Friday night when they cross the river and head to Cambridge for a meeting with Harvard at 7 p.m. at Lavietes Pavilion.

The two teams will meet for the 56
th time in program history and for the sixth-straight season.
Heading into tomorrow night's game, here are a few things to look for.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- What happened the last time out?
- Though Northeastern gained as much as a 12-point lead on Boston University early in the second half, the Terriers never gave up, fighting back in the final minutes to steal a game away from the Huskies 77-74 in the season opener at Matthews Arena on Tuesday night
- Vasa Pusica led the way for Northeastern with his first 30-point effort of the season, and fourth of his career, finishing with 31 points, and six assists on the night
- Anthony Green and Bolden Brace added near-double-doubles as Green finished with 10 points and eight boards and Brace put up eight points and a team-leading nine rebounds on the night
- BU was led by Tyler Scanlon who hit the ultimate game-winning basket, finishing with 16 points and eight rebounds while Jordan Guest added 13 points and Max Mahoney finished with 12 points and six boards
- Crossing the century mark
- With his 31-point effort against Boston University in the season opener, senior Vasa Pusica went over the 1,000-point scoring mark in his five-year career
- Pusica finished his career at San Diego with 393 points scored in his freshman and sophomore campaigns
- Last year, his first year competing for the Huskies, Pusica netted 592 points (just outside of the NU Top-10)

- Scouting the Crimson
- The Crimson are off to a 1-0 start to the year picking up a season-opening victory over MIT Tuesday night, 78-66
- Harvard was selected as the Ivy League favorite once again heading into the 2018-19 season
- The Crimson return all three All-Ivy selections from 2018 in Seth Towns, Chris Lewis and Justin Bassey, with Towns also earning Associated Press and Lou Henson All-America honors
- Tommy Amaker leads the program in his 12th season as the Thomas G. Stemberg '71 Family Endowed Coach for Harvard Men's Basketball
THIS SEASON
- Against MIT, Chris Lewis led the offense with a 20-point effort and 9-of-11 shooting from the field while also making three blocks
- Noah Kirkwood ended the game with 13 points while Justin Bassey added nine and the bench combined for 35 points
- 11 different players scored for Harvard while 10 picked up assists in the game and the team combined for a 59.3 shooting percentage
ALL-TIME SERIES
- Harvard and Northeastern have met 55 times in the past with the Crimson holding a 39-16 series lead
- The two teams met for the first time during the 1920-21 season, Northeastern's first as varsity program
- The Huskies lost 22 of the first 23 games against Harvard dating back to 1955-56. Since the 1955-56 season, Northeastern is 16-16 against the Crimson.
- Under Bill Coen, the Huskies have a 4-3 record, including last year's 16-point victory
- This year's game will mark the sixth straight season that Harvard and Northeastern will meet, the longest streak since the two teams met 10 times in a row from 1950-51 until 1959-60
- Huskies in the Ivy
- The Huskies have face seven of the eight teams from the Ivy League in the team's 98 year history
- During that time, the Huskies have notched a 44-69 record against their Ivy League opponents, holding winning records over three of the squads
- Northeastern and Harvard have met the most of any Ivy League program (55 times)
- The only Ivy League team the Huskies have yet to face is Yale University
- This marks the ninth straight season the Huskies will face an Ivy League foe
- Last season the Huskies went 2-0 against their Ivy League foes beating Harvard and Cornell in back-to-back games by a combined 34 points
