ALL-TIME SERIES

Northeastern has recorded one victory during seven all-time games against Elon, despite five series meetings being decided by single digits, including three by one possession. The two programs met for the first time on Jan. 25, 2015, at Alumni Gym following the Phoenix's move to the CAA at the beginning of the 2014-15 season. NU is winless against Elon at home during its three previous tries. Kelly Cole and Charlotte Smith have been the respective head coaches of the Huskies and the Phoenix during all seven series meetings.

CAA STANDINGS

Friday's 79-61 win against Towson coupled with William & Mary's defeat to UNCW allowed the Huskies to reclaim sole possession of fifth place in the CAA standings with two and a half regular-season weekends remaining. Northeastern (8-6 CAA) will enter Sunday trailing fourth-place Delaware (8-5) by a half game and third-place Elon (10-4) by two games.

Beyond Elon, each of the Huskies' final three regular-season opponents are against teams currently positioned below Northeastern in the league standings, including two matchups against Hofstra (home and home).

UP NEXT

Northeastern will make its final road trip during the CAA regular-season by heading to Hofstra on Friday, Feb. 23 (7 p.m.), and College of Charleston on Sunday, Feb. 25 (2 p.m.).
