BOSTON– The road trip continues in the south this weekend as the Northeastern men's basketball team makes its rounds around North Carolina and Virginia, beginning with a Thursday night contest at Elon at 7 p.m.
The Huskies will make their Schar Center debut against the Phoenix, and enter the game with a three-game win-streak over Elon, including a 22-point rout in the regular season finale that helped Northeastern capture a share of the CAA Regular Season title.

- Elon enters Thursday's game with the Huskies on two-game losing streak
- The Phoenix are 3-6 at home this season as Northeastern heads to the Schar Center for their inaugural game at Elon's new facility
- The Phoenix' three home wins have come against Milligan College, Central Penn and James Madison while Elon has added another two wins at Manhattan to start the season and over Kennesaw State

- Elon senior guard Steven Santa Ana, leads the team with a 16.4 ppg average while also pulling down 6.3 rebounds per game in his final year with the Phoenix
- In addition forward Tyler Seibring adds 15.5 points per game while making a team leading 10 blocks
- Sheldon Eberhardt is leading the team with 58 assists

- This will be just the ninth meeting between the two teams in a series that the Huskies lead 5-3
- The Huskies are on a three-game win-streak over the Phoenix entering Thursday's contest
- Northeastern has also won its last three games in Elon, including a 22 point blowout last season

- Selected to finish sixth this season in the CAA preseason poll, Northeastern earned its then-seventh-straight victory to close out the regular season and earn a share of the CAA Regular Season Title with an 81-59 victory at Elon
- The Huskies finished the regular season with a 21-9 record, the most regular season wins by a Northeastern team since the 1986-87 Huskies finished with a 23-6 regular season record
- Vasa Pusica paced the Huskies for the 17th time this season finishing with a career-high tying 31 points, including a 9-for-9 effort from the free throw line
- Shawn Occeus finished his night with 13 points, a career-high tying six steals and five rebounds
