RICHMOND, Va.— After leading the Northeastern women's soccer team to a 2-1 victory over William & Mary, freshman forward
Nina Dooley has been named the CAA Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday.

Dooley netted the equalizer and had the assist on
Olivia Ware's game-winner in the come-from-behind effort against William & Mary. The match marked Dooley's first game recording both a goal and an assist. Dooley now sits in fourth place on the team with seven points, off three goals and one assist.Â

This honor from the CAA is Dooley's first of her career and she is the first women's soccer player to be named CAA Rookie of the Week since
Grace Moore was given the nod on Nov. 8, 2018.

Dooley and the Huskies will be back in action at Parsons Field on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 1 p.m. against the College of Charleston.
