BOSTON— The Northeastern men's soccer team will face off against the Boston College Eagles for the first time since 2012 as the Huskies travel to nearby Newton, Mass. on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 4 p.m.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- Scouting The Eagles: Boston College owns a 6-2-2 overall record and 1-2-1 record in the ACC. The Eagles most recently defeated No. 3 Wake Forest, 2-1 in ACC play. Stefan Sigurdarson and Amos Shapiro-Thompson are tied to lead the Eagles, with three goals each. Sigurdarson leads BC in points with eight, off three goals and two assists. Goalkeepers Giacomo Piccardo and Christian Garner have split time in goal this season, with both keepers owning two shutouts. Piccardo has a 1.00 GAA while Garner owns a 0.68 GAA.
- Twice As Nice: Freshman midfielder Liam Murphy earned his second career honor from the CAA as he was named the Rookie of the Week on Monday, Oct. 7. Murphy's honor comes after he scored one goal against Hartford and claimed an assist against No. 16 JMU.
- Four x Four: Ryan Massoud, Benjamin Klingen and Timothy Ennin have each scored four goals to tie to lead the Huskies. Klingen and Ennin have also notched two assists on the season while Massoud has contributed one.Â
