POSTGAME NOTES
WORCESTER, Mass. - Jordan Roland scored a game-high 28 points in 27 minutes, while
Jason Strong added a career-high 18 points as Northeastern (3-2) set a program record in margin of victory, 101-44, over Holy Cross (0-3) on Tuesday night at the Hart Center. The Huskies' bench finished with 44 points and Northeastern scored 63 points in the first half, shooting 75 percent (12-for-16) from behind the arc in the opening 20 minutes.
The nation's leading scorer, Roland, went 11-for-13 from the floor and 6 of 7 from behind the arc.
Tyson Walker matched his career-best with 15 points, while
Myles Franklin scored a career-high 10 points and
Maxime Boursiquot finished with 10 points off the bench.
The Huskies dominated the glass, 42-24, and led for 38 minutes of the game. It was the first time Northeastern has scored 60 or more points in the first half since posting 60 against Lasell University on Nov. 22, 2005.
The Huskies will travel to Fort Myers, Fla. for the Gulf Coast Showcase on Nov. 25-27. Northeastern will take on South Alabama in the first game at 11 a.m. and all the action can be seen on FLOHOOPS.
