ESTERO, Fla. –
Jordan Roland scored a game-high 24 points,
Bolden Brace finished with 18 and
Greg Eboigbodin posted a career-high 13 points to lead Northeastern (4-4) over Weber State (1-5), 79-69, in the final game of the Gulf Coast Showcase on Wednesday at Hertz Arena. The Huskies shot 58 percent (15-26) from behind the arc.
Shaquille Walters led the Huskies on the boards with eight, adding eight points as well. NU improves to 4-0 this season when shooting 50 percent or better from the floor, finishing at 55 percent (26-for-47) today.
The Huskies never trailed in the game and jumped out to a 17-3 lead over the first five minutes of the game. The lead would grow to as many as 21 points early in the second half. Northeastern made 12-of-13 shots from the free-throw line (.923) in the game.
The Huskies will return to Boston to host Maine on Wednesday, Dec. 4. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside Matthews Arena and the game will be televised on NESN.
