BOSTON - Fresh off a road win at Boston University, Northeastern (1-0) will host crosstown rival Harvard (1-0) on Friday night in the men's basketball home opener inside Matthews Arena. The Huskies have won two straight against the Crimson and are 5-3 against Harvard under head coach Bill Coen.

Senior sharpshooter Jordan Roland started the season with a career-high 39 points, tied for fourth most in program history. It was the most points scored in a season opener in school history, and Roland shot 62 percent from the floor (15-for-24). He currently leads the nation in scoring.

This season marks the 100th year of men's basketball at Northeastern University. The Huskies are 1,234-1,122 (.524) all-time in program history.
INSIDE THE SERIES WITH HARVARD
The Crimson won 22 of the first 23 meetings, but Northeastern has held a 5-3 advantage in the series since Coach Coen's arrival. This year's game marks the seventh straight season the two teams have met, the longest streak since the two teams met in all 10 games in the 1950s.
BOLAND BRACE
The senior guard continues to climb the record book at Northeastern, His 170 career triples ranks No. 7 all-time in school history, 10 shy of Chaisson Allen's 180 in 125 games from 2007-11. Brace will play his 100th career game on Friday night vs. Harvard.
