BOSTON— The No. 4 Northeastern women's hockey team will welcome Holy Cross to historic Matthews Arena on Friday, Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. The Friday afternoon tilt against the Crusaders will air live on NESN.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW
  1. The Crusaders: Holy Cross is still in search of its first win of the year, starting with an 0-8-3 record. Rachel Moore leads the Crusaders with six points, off one goal and five assists. Katie Lachapelle is in her first season as head coach of the Crusaders after serving as the associate head coach her first two years with the program.

  2. Month of Mueller: After helping the No. 4 Northeastern women's hockey team to a 5-1-0 start to the season, Alina Mueller has been named the Hockey East Player of the Month for September/October. Mueller tallied 15 points in October off four goals and 11 assists. She currently averages 1.50 assists per game, which is tied for the third best mark in the country. During October, Mueller had three, four-point performances and a five-match point streak to start the season.

  3. The Goa(t)-ender: After securing her 11th career shutout during Northeastern's game against BU (Nov. 2) Aerin Frankel was named the Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week (Nov. 4). Frankel - now a six-time career HEAW Defensive Player of the Week selection - currently ranks in a tie for fifth place all-time on Northeastern's career shutouts list.
