YPSILANTI, Mich.
- Maxime Boursiquot posted his first double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Jordan Roland tallied 12 points as Northeastern (5-6) dropped a road contest to Eastern Michigan (9-1), 60-55, on Tuesday night at the Convocation Center. The Eagles held the Huskies to a season-low .327 shooting percentage from the floor.

The game featured 12 lead changes and six ties. With the Huskies down six, Tyson Walker buried a 3-pointer with 1:43 remaining to bring NU within three. The Eagles scored at the other end and then Roland was fouled and made a pair of free throws with 1:02 left to bring the Huskies back within three. After a big stop by Northeastern, Boursiquot was able to get off a 3-pointer with 11 seconds left that looked good the whole way, but did not fall. Walker got the offensive rebound and missed the put back, and the Eagles secured the rebound and made two free throws at the other end to ice the game.

Noah Morgan led EMU with 19 points, while Yeikson Montero had 12 and Ty Groce added 10 for the Eagles. EMU won the battle of the glass, 36-34, and outscored the Huskies 30-12 inside the paint.

Northeastern will travel to Detroit to take on Detroit Mercy on Thursday night. The game can be watched on ESPN3 and will tip at 7 p.m.
