BOSTON— The No. 3 Northeastern women's hockey team is set to play its second to last game of 2019 as the Huskies travel to close out the series against Holy Cross on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m.
 
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. The Crusaders: Rachel Moore leads the Crusaders with eight points off two goals and six assists. Mary Edmonds leads Holy Cross with three goals. Katie Lachapelle is in her first season as head coach of the Crusaders after serving as the associate head coach her first two years with the program.

  2. Shutout Station: Northeastern has six shutouts this season, first among NCAA Division I programs. Goaltender Aerin Frankel has four shutouts on the season and currently sits at fourth all-time at Northeastern with 13 in her career, while freshman Gwyneth Philips, has two shutouts on the season. 

  3. Gwyn-ything Is Possible When You're On A Knoll:  Gwyneth Philips was honored as Defensive Player of the Week and Katy Knoll claimed Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week honors following their performances in the 11-0 victory over Holy Cross. Philips claimed her second career shutout and a career-high 24 saves, while Knoll pieced together a five-point performance against the Crusaders.

The Huskies will next take on Vermont in their final game of 2019 on Dec. 30 at 4 p.m. in Matthews Arena.
