BOSTON – Aiming to lead the Northeastern women's soccer team to its fifth CAA championship during 2019 and its first since 2016, fourth-year head coach Ashley Phillips proudly unveiled on Tuesday the dates and opponents that comprise the Huskies' fall campaign.
 
Among Northeastern's 2019 fixtures, the Huskies will cross paths with four programs that advanced to the 2018 NCAA tournament (Albany, Boston College, Boston University, Hofstra) and three programs that won regular season conference titles (Boston University, James Madison, Stony Brook).
 
Northeastern will make preseason appearances at home against Maine (Aug. 14) and away at New Hampshire (Aug. 17) before opening the regular season on Thursday, Aug. 22, at Stony Brook.
 
Returning to Brookline, the Huskies will formally open their 24th season at Parsons Field with home matches against Albany (Aug. 25) and Harvard (Aug. 30) prior to bookending road derbies at Boston College (Sept. 5) and Boston University (Sept. 12) around their first-ever visit to Florida Gulf Coast (Sept. 8).
 
Northeastern will contest inaugural series meetings against San Francisco (Sept. 15) and Yale (Sept. 19) at Parsons Field before closing its non-conference season at Providence (Sept. 22).
 
The Huskies' home CAA slate is highlighted by a 2018 CAA semifinal rematch against Hofstra – the defending league champion – on Thursday, Oct. 3. NU will also host league matches against Towson (Sept. 26), Delaware (Oct. 10), William & Mary (Oct. 13) and College of Charleston (Oct. 20).
 
Kickoff times for Northeastern's home 2019 fixtures will be revealed during the coming weeks.
