BOSTON – After capturing both conference tournament titles, as well as a regular season crown, in 2019, the Northeastern men's and women's ice hockey teams added to their Hockey East hardware on Thursday when 19 student-athletes (13 women, six men) were named to the league's All-Academic Team.
All of the students mentioned below maintained a GPA of 3.0 or better during the 2018-19 academic year earning the distinction of the All Academic team.
Women's hockey:

Bailey Coyne,
Codie Cross,
Skylar Fontaine,
Maddie Hartman,
Sydney Herrington,
Brooke Hobson,
Emma Jurusik,
Alina Mueller,
Veronika Pettey,
Brianna Storms, and
Tori Sullivan.
Men's hockey:
Drew Blackmun,
Billy Carrabino,
Curtis Frye,
John Picking,
Austin Plevy,
Ryan Ruck
Kasidy Anderson and
Maddie Hartman each earned the Distinguished Scholar status for a 3.0+ grade point average in their four varsity seasons in Hockey East.
The announcement comes following the 23rd straight semester in which all Northeastern student-athletes record a combined GPA of 3.0 or better thanks to a 3.299 grade point average, the highest spring GPA on record.
The women's ice hockey team has placed at least 10 student-athletes on the Hockey East All-Academic Team every year since 2003-04.
