BOSTON— The Northeastern women's soccer team will face UNCW in its first CAA road test of the season as the Huskies travel to Wilmington, N.C., this Sunday, Sept. 29 at 1 p.m. at the UNCW Soccer Stadium.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. A Look Into The Seahawks: The Seahawks enter this match with a 4-4-0 overall record and a 0-1-0 record in the CAA. Most recently, UNCW fell to Elon, 3-1 in its CAA opener. Audrey Harding is a Seahawk to watch, with four goals and two assists through eight games. Emily Moxley is just behind Harding, with three goals and three assists though eight games. Goalkeeper Sydney Schneider has started all eight games for the Seahawks, with 1.39 GAA and .744 save percentage.

  2. Taking Them To Town:  The Huskies improved to 11-3-2 in CAA openers as they took down the Towson Tigers, 6-0, to open conference play. The six goals scored, ties a program record for the Huskies, that has been achieved three times previously, most recently against the College of Charleston in the CAA quarterfinals on Oct. 29, 2017. Five different players scored goals for the Huskies and seven players notched a point in the game.

  3. She's The (Mc)MAN(us):  Junior defender Mikenna McManus scored her first career goal against Towson, in her 51st start for the Huskies. McManus also notched two assists against Towson, for a four-point outing. The game marked the first multi-point match in McManus's career.
