BOSTON—David Adams set the pace for the Northeastern track and field team on day one of competition at the Harvard Beantown Challenge as he achieved a personal-record and tied the school record in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 7.94. The men's team finished day one in third-place (19 points) and the women's team currently sits in second-place (23 points).
Erica Belvit led the way for the women and captured the first-place title in the women's weight throw with a mark of 19.02m.
In the Harvard Multi Meet, freshman
Dominique Biron took fourth in the women's pentathlon and entered Northeastern's all-time records at ninth.
Mange Camara also ran a PR today of 6.89 in the men's 60-meter dash which helped him also break in to the university's all-time top ten list as well.
